eSIM, short for Embedded SIM, is a digital version of a traditional SIM card. With eSIM, there's no need to wait for a physical SIM card as you can simply download it over Wi-Fi. It allows you to connect to the T-Mobile network within minutes, providing a convenient and efficient way to activate your device.

Apple iPhone:

During the initial setup, you will be prompted to install an eSIM. If you have already set up your iPhone and are connected to Wi-Fi, your iPhone will notify you when the T-Mobile Cellular Plan is ready to be installed. If you didn't receive a prompt or chose to install later, you can install your eSIM by going to the device Settings > Cellular.

Samsung

During the initial setup, you will be prompted to install an eSIM. If you have already set up your Samsung device and are connected to Wi-Fi, follow these steps: Go to Settings > Select Connections > Choose SIM manager > Tap on Add eSIM to initiate the activation process.

Google

For Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro devices, ensure that you are connected to Wi-Fi during the setup process. You will be given the option to download your eSIM. However, for other Google Pixel devices, you will need to insert a physical SIM card.

Other devices

To connect to Wi-Fi and install your eSIM, simply scan the QR code. For most Android devices, you can find the eSIM activation option in Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network.

Before installing the eSIM please don't hesitate to read about possible error:

1) Don't scan the QR code with another phone, (eSIM phone number is linked to provided IMEI and EID phone that you submitted);

2) Before scanning the QR code make sure you have WIFI internet connection;

3) Don't install the eSIM and after that Deleted, or canceled during installation (in this case nothing can be done future more)

4) Your phone need to be carrier unlocked

5) Other (eSIM PrePay is standard service, and if something is not working is something related to your phone)

your pin is: 123456, the T-Mobile app allows you to install your eSIM directly, bypassing the need to scan a QR code. Simply open the app, navigate to the “eSIM” section, and follow the on-screen instructions.

your pin is: 123456, T-Mobile website also allows you to install your eSIM by going to the My T-Mobile account and selecting the eSIM option, and following the instructions.

You can't install your eSIM?

It is essential to have a WIFI connection when you scan the QR code, or your phone may require personalized settings that can only be configured by T-Mobile:

1) Call +1-800-937-8997

- If prompted for a PIN, use: 123456

- Request new QR code be sent to your email

- Specify the model of your phone

- Ensure you provide the correct email address: used on activation

2) Visit a T-Mobile store for help.
